Like a Roman emperor visiting a province, Mexican President Felipe
Calderon paid a visit to his subjects in Washington, DC last week.

He was received with pomp and circumstance, told his subjects what he
wanted done, and returned home a conquering hero.

That constitutes a big problem for the Republicans.....
With 78% of the "Latino" population looking at the Republican party as
opposed to latinos in general, that will pose dire circumstances for
Republican candidates...
In many of these states, the republican margin of winning was a few
percentage poitns. If the latino population in these areas come out in
a "vengance" vote against the repblicans, that would mean an electoral
desaster. A swing vote of 5 to 7% percent, in most contests will
decide the winner....
And another frightening aspect is that the 2nd, third and even fourth
genterations, who do not speake spanish at all, in most circustances
are offended because of the percieved attack on their heratage, and
will abandon the republican party in dorves.
Note the feeling of comfort and satisfaction in the democratic party,
when analizing the private polls. These are polls of not the general
public but of specific electoral segmenst.

Don't be absurd. He's talking about citizens who VOTE, not illegals. Already
blacks vote overwhelmingly democratic, if Latinos start doing the same thing
the Republican party will become a permanent white southern minority. Which
BTW suits me fine, the sooner those assholes are extinct the better.

Probably when they become a minority they will be hanged from trees.

"If" is a very big word. Latinos are famous for not voting, so if
there is going to be a "vengeance vote" it's going to be against the
members of Congress who stood up and applauded when Calderon trashed
Arizona. For the campaign commercial, all they have to do is zoom in
on the house member clapping, put it in slow motion, and have a voice-
over, something like, "Representative ________ stands with Calderon
against U.S. immigration law."

That certainly won't look good at all, coming out a few weeks before
election day.

You're acting like Hispanics are the only game in town. There's still
a whole bunch of us old white guys who are keenly interested in how
the world is shaping up, and we vote in numbers far in excess of the
reconquistas.

Are Latinos from Latinia?
Tell me.
RLunfa

Vas a vivir muchos años. Vas a

Hey, Mike, I don't expect you to be familiar with the concepts of
integro-differential equations, derivatives and the slope of a curve
(this is actually high school math).

Still, take a look a this chart and extrapolate (familiar with the
term?) the lines them visually.

Not only did Hispanics vote Barack Obama into office, but their
electoral participation is projected to triple in the next elections.

Meanwhile... WTF are my 14 Senators!!???
